Problema frana de mana bmw x5 e70

Buna ziua, am un bmw x5 e70 an 2009 si am martorul "frana de mana" aprins de culoare galben, am pus testerul pe ea iar mecanicul mi a spus ca am motorasul stricat si ca trebuie inlocuit.( ceea ce nu inteleg eu este ca daca masina este pornita si iau piciorul de pe accereratie masina pleaca usor (cum este normal) de pe loc...iar daca tin tras de butonul( P ) masina ramane pe loc ptr 5-6 secunde (ca si cum ar tine frana de mana dar nu o blocheaza si trb sa tin cu degetul de buton).

Are cineva idee ce as putea sa fac?
