That's what I thought too: that it couldn't possibly work on my 99 328i which has a throttle cable. However, I've done some reading in my Bentley manual and found the following: The 323i and 328i use the M52TU engine. This engine uses the Siemens MS 42.0 DME System. The MS 42.0 system uses a throttle assembly called the MDK (Motor Driven Throttle Valve). Quoted from the Bentley manual "A throttle cable is used to actuate the accelerator pedal position potentiometers and also serves as a backup to open the throttle plate (full control) when the MDK system is on the failsafe mode." Now I understand why it's so simple to retrofit cruise control on E46's with the M52TU engine; they do actually have an electrically driven throttle stiu ca aici zice de 323i si 328i dar daca cauti o sa vezi ca electronica (SIEMENS MS42.0 DME) este si pe motorul de 320i 150cai respecte
