Scuze uite si detalierea:

555 PRO BDM TOOL is a reader/programmer interface allowing tuners to work on all those ECUs where the microprocessor is a MOTOROLA MPC55x/56x. It can be considered an alternative solution to the serial programming method and the conventional programming procedure, as 555 PRO BDM TOOL requires the opening of the ECU and the connection to a specific area (empty). The ECU is located in a specific positioning frame allowing the tuner to link the specific pin boards supplied to the specific area required for the reading and programming operations. This system enables the tuner to avoid soldering and de-soldering operations on the ECU motherboard.

555 PRO BDM TOOL permits to extract and reprogram the whole software stored into the ECU:

- EPROM or ROM memory with active data sets (maps);

- MOTOROLA MPC5xx processor file

- Serial EEPROM content.

After the initial reading of the ECU software, it is always possible to retrieve the original content even in case of the ECU blocking, due as example to a missing checksum recalculation.
