se pune pe sistemul audio ( asetofon sau cd player) pe auxiliar. Cand ajung acasa iti scanezi cateva pagini din manual pentru instalare.

Se monteaza interfata in iesierea auxiliara. Daca nu stii ce e aia sau cum se ajunge la ea probabil e mai bine sa mergi cu ea la cineva care stie :). Eu o luasem pt mine dar acum dau masina.

Asta e pretul ei, pe net este cam 120-150 $ plus transportul. Cred ca pana la urma o sa imi iau si un Ipd si o sa mi-l pun mie asa cum era planul initial.

BMW iPod Interface Adapter The installation kit consists of 2 wiring harnesses and an interface box. The interface is connected to the back of the radio and the cable runs to the glovebox of the vehicle. The connector located in the glovebox of the vehicle provides the connection between the iPod and the vehicle and charges the iPod while connected and the vehicle is running. Using the CD-Mode on the radio, customers can access 5 different playlists created through iTunes. These playlists must be named “BMW1, BMW2, BMW3, BMW4, BMW5.” You can add a description after the BMW# name such as “BMW1 – Jazz”, “BMW – Rock” and so on to make it easy to identify. Each playlist is accessed by pressing the corresponding radio preset button on the radio. Preset button number “6” on the radio will play the entire contents of the iPod starting from the beginning of the music collection. (If the iPod connected does not have any BMW playlists you can always press preset 6 to hear all music on the iPod.) “Random” mode can also be selected to shuffle a play list or the entire music collection on the iPod for hours of music enjoyment. Important: Only 3rd Generation iPods with software 2.2 and the new iPod mini with iPod software 1.1 or greater can be used with our interface adapter. The latest software can always be downloaded directly from Apple through their support page.
