normal ca sunt diferite pentru ca sunt facute pentru doua piete diferite, probabil pe baza unor studii adevarate...ma refer la ceva ce in Romania :) ...da da...blink blink

si bine ca a fost asa pentru ca daca nu probail eu,asta din Romania,nu imi luam. si nici nu am citit/studiat/cautat decat ceva peste 4 ani... :D

hai ca esti aberant si ma iei si la misto' degeaba. nu stiu ce ai studiat in cei 4 ani, dar ar trebui sa stii un lucru - M3 E30 dupa spusele celor de la BMW e putin diferit de ce crezi tu.

 

daca ai doar 4 ani de cand cauti un M3 E30 te inteleg, esti abia la inceput. bafta in continuare. am avut asa ceva acum 7 ani, dar nu l-am considerat un M3 adevarat.

 

History of the E30 M3

 

 

First introduced in 1987 for homologation into the German DTM race series, BMWs E30 M3 is widely regarded as one of the finest racing cars of its era. It cleaned up in DTM, in BTCC and many other racing series against the likes of Ford Sierra Cosworths and the Mercedes 190.

 

The required 500 road cars were made, and then a few thousand more each year as the racing car evolved from the first M3 through to the M3 EVO, M3 EVO II and finally the M3 EVO III. The engine, coded S14, is an over bored twin overhead camshaft, 16-valve unit. It started life as 2302cc and finished up in the M3 EVO III as 2467cc for entry in the 2.5-liter racing class.

 

Whilst sharing a similar basic shape to the lesser 'cooking' E30 road cars, the M3 shares only it's roof and bonnet panels with the rest of the range. The front and rear wings are wider, the rear screen further raked, the elevated rear boot lid and spoiler arrangement sits on the back of the car; All in the name of cutting aerodynamic axle lift.

 

 

All the production cars were left hand drive, and in the UK the M3 was only available as a special order.

 

Underneath, the twin-tube Boge gas damper suspension configuration, proven with over 6,200 miles at the Nurburgring and Nardo speed bowl, features three times the castor angle of the road cars and a quicker 19.6:1 steering rack. The front and rear anti-roll bars are a stronger rate, as are the springs and various bushes.

 

 

Brakes are 284mm vented front discs (sourced from the E28 5 series, along with the wheel bearings), and 250mm solid rears. Bosch ABS was standard fit on all production M3s.

 

 

Other features unique to the E30 M3 are the dog-leg Getrag five-speed gearbox and ZF multi-plate limited-slip differential with a 25% preload, a larger 70 litre fuel tank and an oil temperature gauge in the bottom of the rev-counter, where the MPG fright-o-meter usually lives.

 

The result of all this is a Cd figure of 0.33 and an unparalleled high speed stability, increased feel and outstanding handling; at the time, unmatched by any contemporary saloon car.

The E30 320is is a special 3 Series model that was sold exclusively in Italy and Portugal in order to take advantage of the reduced taxes in those countries for cars with engines that displace two liters or less. It is powered by a 1990cc version of the four-cylinder S14 engine developed by BMW Motorsport for the E30 M3 and also shares its close-ratio Getrag gearbox with the M3. However, all other components are standard 3 Series items.

The E30 320is was built on the normal Regensberg assembly line alongside the other 3 Series models.

 

Unlike the limited-production M3, which was created primarily as a competition machine and utilizes many unique exterior body panels and chassis components, the 320is was never intended to be a homologation special. It was conceived instead as a sportier and more affordable alternative to the torquier and more refined 325i, which was taxed heavily in Italy and Portugal due to its 2.5-liter engine.

 

There were no mechanical changes to the E30 320is during the three years that it was produced. However, there were a number of minor cosmetic and equipment variations that also apply to every E30 3 Series model built during the same period.

 

The two-liter S14 engine in the E30 320is is essentially identical to the 2,302cc version found in the E30 M3 except for its shorter stroke (72.6mm versus 84mm) that yields an overall displacement of 1,990cc. Like all S14 engines, it combines the basic four-cylinder block from the M10 family with a four-valve head derived from the one used on the six-cylinder M88 and S38 motors. Special features of this engine include individual throttle plates for each cylinder, machined intake and exhaust ports, and a crankshaft with eight counterweights. Like the M88 and S38, the S14 does not have hydraulic lifters, and thus requires periodic valve adjustments.

 

The two-liter S14 is rated at 192 hp (DIN) at 6,900 rpm and 155 lb/ft of torque at 4,900 rpm. This is down slightly compared to the non-catalyst, 2.3-liter S14 used in the E30 M3 which is rated at 200 hp (DIN) at 6,750 and 176 lb/ft of torque at 4,750 rpm.

The S14 engine fitted to the 320is has an identical appearance to the unit found in the E30 M3 and thus shares the "BMW M Power" inscription on its cam cover.

 

Like the European-spec E30 M3, the sole gearbox for the E30 320is is a close-ratio Getrag 260 five-speed manual with a "dogleg" shift pattern and the following ratios: 3.72 (1), 2.40 (2), 1.77 (3), 1.26 (4), 1.00 (5). This is mated to a shorter (compared to the M3) 3.46:1 rear axle ratio with limited-slip differential.

 

Like all E30 3 Series, the suspension of the 320is consists of a MacPherson strut/semi-trailing arm design. However, the springs, shocks and anti-roll bars are of the more aggressive "Sportfahrwerk" specification, also offered on other E30 models such as the UK-spec 325i Sport.

 

The 320is uses the standard E30 power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system with an overall ratio of 20.5:1.

 

The E30 320is shares its braking system with the six-cylinder E30 models and thus is equipped with 10.2-inch (260mm) vented disc brakes in the front and 10.2-inch (260mm) solid disc brakes in the rear. ABS was fitted as standard equipment.

 

The exterior of the 320is can only be identified from other E30 3 Series models by its "320is" badging on the trunk lid, though this could be deleted upon request. (The curved dual exhaust tips are also unlike those of any other four-cylinder 3 Series but are shared with the six-cylinder E30 325i.)

 

The exterior of the four-door E30 320is is equipped only with fog lights, 14-inch alloy wheels and a body-color rear spoiler. The two-door version adds the complete M-Technic II aero package (identical to the one fitted to the UK-spec 325i Sport and available as an accessory on all other E30 3 Series models), which consists of a deeper front airdam, additional lower side body panels, an extended valance under the rear bumper and a two-piece rear spoiler. In addition, the two-door E30 320is is also equipped with body-color rearview mirror housings, Shadowline (dechromed) window trim and 14-inch cross-spoke alloy wheels for a sportier appearance.

 

The interior of the E30 320is is identical to that of other 3 Series models with the sole excpetion of its unique instrument cluster that utilizes the same tachometer with integrated oil temperature gauge as the E30 M3, but lacks the red needles and M logo between the two main dials. Also, the gear shift knob is of the older non-ergonomic design that was phased out on other E30 3 Series models (with the exception of the M3) in September, 1987.

 

There were no factory special editions of the E30 320is.

in nici un caz de a te lua la misto.

cum am lasat sa se inteleaga in mai multe cazuri am ales ceva in conditie originala si ceva dotari tocmai in idea ca fiind un model "OLD" era evident sa apara probleme (dusa linia dupa 190km) si la unul "alterat" e dificil sa "ii mai faci sa vorbeasca asa cum au vorbit intre ei la inceput". am pus anumite aspecte inainte de 2L sau 2.3L.

pornind de la M3 am ajuns la 320is si nu invers. vreau sa subliniez ca am inteles "compromisul" pe care il fac si nu m-am trezit cu el.

la aceasta categorie, S 14 vreau sa spun, am ajuns dupa ce am avut in afara de M40 si M102 cam tot. cam tot s-a terminat in 2001 si unele din cam tot nu pentru mult timp.

personal mie aici mi-ar place sa se dea "batalia" la motoarele in 4 de 2L!

la aspectul caroserie oricum nu ma uitam la cele evazate ca imi par ca si fetele cu fundul cazut. imi place E30 si nu neaparat M pachet.

deci, am ales si nu exista loc de tradare. asta e masina si alt E30 imi iau doar daca nu il mai am pe asta.

egal ce varianta de caroserie am avut, E30 mi-a furat inima.

dar daca Sulfina "reuseste" adaugam si baiatul!

inca o data, nici vorba de misto sau rautate.

ciar ma gandeam sa dau un anunt pe forum sa spun celor care au bmw m3 daca nu vor sa faca un play ! la bacau la pista de carting

vreau sa fac un concurs cu toti care au bmw sport m din romania!
