Stie cineva care e diferenta pe parte de faruri si ce e diferit in functionarea lor pe sistem de camera KAFAS fata de FLA ?

Eu aveam asa o foarte gresita parere, aparent, ca FLA efectiv schimba din faza lunga in faza scurta si invers, exact ca pe E9X sa zic asa, dar aparent face mult mai mult .

Am mers zilele astea mai mult pe seara si am putut observa cat de complex totusi lucreaza farurile led adaptive chiar si pe FLA. Practic ce credeam eu ca face pe KAFAS, ele lucreaza de fapt si pe FLA. 

Decupeaza colturile, aprinde doar anumite zone, decupeaza sensul opus, decupeaza mijlocul ( in caz ca ai masina in fata) , cand detecteaza lumini pe marginea drumului cum ar fi in localitati, opreste faza lunga de tot ; am ramas foarte surprins.

Daca ele merg asa pe FLA, intrebarea mea , pe KAFAS ce stiu sa faca suplimentar ?

Camera-based driver support systems (KAFAS)

Depending on the options fitted, various camera-based systems are available. Technical implementation is realised with a camera in the mirror base and a control unit, the KAFAS control unit.

The most important display functions of the camera-based driver assistance systems are as follows:

• Lane departure warning
• High-beam assistant
• Speed limit (Speed Limit Info)
• Collision warning
• Overtaking ban
• Urban traffic accident prevention
• Preventive pedestrian protection
• Traffic jam assistant

Note! Moreover, the video data that is recorded by the stereo camera is merged with data for other display functions.

Functional description

The camera is integrated in the KAFAS control unit.

The light spots, light colours and light intensities picked up by the camera are evaluated by the KAFAS control unit. The evaluation by the KAFAS control unit results in a switch-on recommendation or switch-off recommendation.

The camera monitors the area in front of the vehicle. The camera records the roadway up to about 40 metres in front and up to about 5 metres to the right and left of the vehicle. The image data is evaluated by the KAFAS control unit.

The stereo camera has up to 3 lenses. This means that a three-dimensional image can be recorded.

The following elements are detected:

• Objects (vehicles, pedestrians, generic objects)
• Free space in front of the vehicle
• Preview of the course of the road
• Road markings

• Road signs
