The second generation of the Shenxing battery, which boasts a range of 800km on one charge, can achieve a peak charging speed of 2.5km per second, the company said at a media event ahead of this week’s Shanghai auto show. “We look forward to collaborating with more industry leaders to push the limits of supercharging through true innovation,” said CATL’s chief technology officer Gao Huan, adding that he wanted the new batteries to become “the standard for electric vehicles”. Analysts at Bernstein said the latest progress meant that charging speeds had more than doubled in the past year and “increased tenfold over the past 3-4 years”. Huan said the new Shenxing battery would be installed in more than 67 EV models this year. He later told reporters that energy density would not be sacrificed as a trade-off for fast charging. During its tech day, CATL also unveiled its new sodium-ion battery, which it said would go into mass production in December. The battery brand called Naxtra is able to give a range of about 200km for a hybrid vehicle and 500km for an electric vehicle, according to Huan. Sodium-ion batteries are seen as a cheaper and safer alternative to the lithium-based batteries widely used for energy storage, because they work better at both very high and low temperatures. But the amount of energy they can produce relative to their size has long lagged behind lithium batteries, making sodium cells impractical until now. The new technology has also been closely watched as a potential solution to reduce the world’s dependence on China for critical minerals, since sodium-ion batteries do not use lithium resources. At the event, Huan claimed the new sodium-ion battery would enable the industry’s shift from “single resource dependence” to “energy freedom” and reshape the global energy landscape. In Romania ideal e sa pui 5W30 sau 5W40, fiind cele mai bune alegeri conform temperaturilor in care își păstrează vâscozitatea ideală. Daca producatorul permite si 0w20, nu înseamnă ca in România trebuie sa il folosesti pe ăla. Motorul in faza de proiectare, este construit pentru a merge cu diferite tipuri de ulei, valabile zonelor geografice in care motorul respectiv este exportat.

Pe producator il intereseaza sa tina masina cat e in garantie, daca vrei sa tii masina mai mult e recomandat sa schimbi mai devreme, cred ca totusi BMW inca precizeaza ca in conditii severe sa schimbi uleiul la 15k, sau asta sper cel putin

Vascozitatea este importanta, dar BMW indica drept acceptabile pentru acest motor destul de multe vascozitati: 0W-20, 5W-20, 0W-30, 5W-30, 0W-40 si 5W-40. Consider ca ar trebui sa ai in vedere si alte caracteristici ale uleiului. Spre exemplu, conformitatea cu ACEA C3 in loc de C2 (implica o valoare HTHS mai mare), cu API SP (asigura protectie imbunatatita la LSPI) si cu o norma BMW Longlife non-FE (ex: BMW Longlife-04). Nu vei gasi pe piata foarte multe uleiuri, de la marci de incredere, care bifeaza simultan toate aceste criterii. Din ceea ce gasesti, selecteaza vascozitatea ta preferata, cu recomandarea sa eviti xW-20 (oricum, inca nu am vazut un xW-20 compatibil C3). La B38, daca il vei utiliza preponderent in regim urban, iti recomand sa schimbi uleiul la cca. 7.000 Km.

Uleiul se pune in functie de zona in care mașina circulă, din punct de vedere al temperaturilor climatice. De asta există denumirile sub forma "Cifră W Cifră" reprezintă vâscozitățile la rece si la cald, sub formă de temperaturi climatice.

7000 km ? Tu vorbesti serios ? Care ar fi problema daca-l schimba la 15000 ? Ce experienta ai ca sa impartasesti , ca se intampla cu motorul daca nu schimbi uleiul la 7000 ? Mersi.
